I often get asked “When did you first get interested in the royals?”

My answer is usually, “I am not sure exactly. But I wrote a story about a Princess in 2nd grade, so probably around then.”

The Lost Princess is the story of a princess, named Gertrude who gets seperated from her family and must find her way back home. The heartwarming drama involves two fire, a kidnapping, brain damage and amnesia.

The story was written by Gertrude in the 2nd grade (age 7) and appears here unedited with the original illustrations.
